Magic 90, Wizards 83: J.J. Redick scored 17 points off the bench and host Orlando extended its winning streak to a season-high four games.
Arron Afflalo and reserve E'Twaun Moore added 15 points apiece for the Magic, who saw leading scorer Glen Davis exit in the final minute with a possible serious injury to his left shoulder.
Nene scored a season-high 20 points and Jordan Crawford added 19 for Washington, which absorbed its sixth consecutive defeat and dropped to 1-11 away from home.
Afflalo scored seven points in an 18-6 burst to open the third quarter as Orlando extended a two-point halftime lead to 76-63 after three quarters, but Cartier Martin buried consecutive 3-pointers to ignite a comeback that got the Wizards as close to four points with 2:53 left.
Moore and Redick combined for 13 points in the opening four minutes of the second quarter to help the Magic build a 13-point lead, but Washington closed the half on a 15-4 run to cut the deficit to 52-50.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Davis landed hard on his left shoulder when he crashed to the floor on a foul by Emeka Okafor and went to the locker room holding his arm. Coach Jacque Vaughn said Davis will be evaluated. ... Wizards G Bradley Beal, the No. 3 overall pick in June's NBA draft, sat out with a sore back after crashing hard to the floor in Tuesday's loss to Atlanta. ... Redick (four) and Moore (three) combined for seven of Orlando's eight 3-pointers.
