Luol Deng's backdoor layup with 3.7 seconds capped a stunning rally and lifted the Chicago Bulls to a 76-74 victory over the visiting Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.

Derrick Rose scored 17 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter as the Bulls won their fourth consecutive game by erasing a 19-point third-quarter lead.

Rose and Deng combined for 30 of Chicago's 34 points in the final 12 minutes to deny the Hawks victories over the Miami Heat and Bulls on back-to-back nights.

Al Horford scored 16 points and Josh Smith added 15 and 14 rebounds for Atlanta, which finished only 14 of 25 from the free throw line and missed three foul shots in the final 17 seconds.

The Hawks grabbed a 38-26 halftime edge by holding the Bulls to 2-for-22 shooting in the second quarter and extended the lead to 56-37 with just over 2 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter.

After Chicago scored the final five points of the third quarter to get within 14 points, Rose took command by scoring 13 points in the first five minutes of the fourth to cut the lead to 61-59.

Deng buried a 3-pointer to cap a 25-6 run and deadlock the game at 62-62 with just over six minutes to play.
