Luis Scola scored 23 points to lead a balanced attack and added 10 rebounds to lead the Houston Rockets to a 118-105 victory over the visiting Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.
Chase Budinger added 18 points off the bench as Houston (10-14) won for the fifth time in seven games. The Rockets were 10-for-23 from 3-point range, with Budinger making three 3-pointers as part of a 7-of-10 shooting performance.
Rookie DeMarcus Cousins and Carl Landry scored 17 points apiece for Sacramento (5-17), which is 2-16 since a 3-1 start.
Former King Kevin Martin scored 14 points for Houston, which also received 13 points from Jordan Hill, 12 points and nine assists from Kyle Lowry and 11 points each from Chuck Hayes and Courtney Lee.
Jason Thompson had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Sacramento, which surrendered 56 points in the paint. Kings leading scorer Tyreke Evans missed the contest with the foot injury that has plagued him in recent weeks.
