Amar’e Stoudemire had 27 points and 10 rebounds and Danilo Gallinari also scored 27 points as the New York Knicks ended a six-game losing streak with a 113-106 victory over the host Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
The loss was the sixth in a row for Sacramento (3-7).
Gallinari made 16-of-17 free throws to help the Knicks (4-8) win for the first time since defeating Washington on Nov. 5.
Tyreke Evans scored 23 points and Carl Landry added 21 and nine rebounds to lead Sacramento.
The Kings started strong and led 27-14 after the first quarter but trailed by five at halftime after the Knicks scored 40 second-quarter points.
New York started 3-of-21 from the field but finally got things rolling with a 17-2 run to take a 38-35 lead midway through the second period.
Raymond Felton tallied 16 points for New York. Toney Douglas scored 14 and Wilson Chandler added 13 points.
Beno Udrih added 18 points for Sacramento. Rookie DeMarcus Cousins had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Luther Head scored 13 points.
