Dodgers 6, Pirates 2: Adrian Gonzalez drove in four runs, Hyun-Jin Ryu threw 6 1/3 innings to earn his first Major League victory and host Los Angeles completed its sweep of Pittsburgh.

Gonzalez had three base hits, giving him seven in the series, and Carl Crawford and Nick Punto had two hits apiece for the Dodgers. Justin Sellers broke out of an 0-for-15 slump to start the season with a solo home run in the seventh that gave Los Angeles a 5-2 lead.

Ryu (1-1) allowed two earned runs, three hits and struck out six while helping the Dodgers to their ninth straight victory over the Pirates at Chavez Ravine. Dodger pitchers entered the game with a 0.80 ERA through the first five games.

The Pirates scored their first runs of the series in the first inning when Starling Marte led off with a base hit for the second straight game and came home on a homer to left by Andrew McCutchen for a 2-0 lead. McCutchen (.238) and Marte (.267) are the only Pirates hitting better than .154 on the season.

The Dodgers answered quickly, as Punto delivered a one-out single to center field off Pirates starter Jeff Locke (0-1), Matt Kemp doubled to right center and both came home on a single up the middle by Gonzalez. The Dodgers took a 3-2 lead in the third after Crawford doubled, was sacrificed to third by Punto and scored on Kemp’s sacrifice fly to right.
