Jordan Eberle had a goal and two assists and Matty Beniers added one of each as the Seattle Kraken defeated the host Vancouver Canucks 4-3 on Saturday night.

Jamie Oleksiak and Yanni Gourde also scored for the Kraken, who extended their point streak to three games (2-0-1). Goaltender Philipp Grubauer made 21 saves.

J.T. Miller, Quinn Hughes and Nils Hoglander scored for the Canucks, who have lost back-to-back games for just the second time this season. Tyler Myers had two assists and Thatcher Demko stopped 22 of 26 shots.

Gourde broke a 2-2 tie at 4:19 of the third period. The Kraken got the puck deep and Eeli Tolvanen tracked it down in the left-wing corner. He sent a cross-ice pass to defenseman Will Borgen, who was charging toward the net, and he slid the puck to Gourde at the top of the crease. Gourde shoveled the puck over Demko's right leg pad.

Beniers gave the Kraken a two-goal lead at 6:48 on a four-on-four with players from both teams in the penalty box. The Canucks turned over the puck in the right-wing corner and Eberle sent a pass to Beniers alone in the slot. He put a wrist shot into the upper-left corner of the net.

Hoglander scored on a tip-in of a Myers shot with 10.1 seconds remaining, but the Kraken held on.

The Canucks scored first at 5:34 of the first. Myers took a slap shot from the right point that squeezed between Grubauer's pads and trickled toward the net. Miller skated behind the goalie and poked a backhander just over the goal line.

The Kraken tied it at 5:43 of the second as defenseman Oleksiak joined the rush on a Vancouver line change and blasted a slap shot from between the top of the faceoff circles into the upper-right corner of the net.

Seattle took a 2-1 lead on a contentious goal at 13:04. Eberle tipped a high shot from Oliver Bjorkstrand into the back of the net. Officials reviewed the play to determine if Eberle touched the puck with a high stick, but the goal stood.

Vancouver tied it at 2-2 at 15:48 of the second as Hughes blasted a slap shot from just outside the top of the left faceoff circle past a screened Grubauer.
