Ducks 2, Kings 1: Rookie Frederik Andersen made 30 saves and fourth-liner Patrick Maroon snapped a tie as host Anaheim rebounded from its first regulation loss at home.

Dustin Penner scored his 12th goal - and first in six games - for Anaheim, which improved to 21-1-2 at Honda Center. Andersen raised his record to 13-2-0 after making 10 saves in the third period while surviving a pair of power plays and a late surge in the final seconds after Los Angeles pulled goaltender Jonathan Quick.

Anze Kopitar ended his 10-game drought with his 14th goal for Los Angeles, which completed a 1-3-1 road trip and fell to 1-8-1 in its last 10 away from home. Quick made 19 saves as his five-game winning streak against the Ducks was snapped.

Los Angeles scored first at 3:13 of the opening period, when Dwight King's pass off the half-wall was tipped by Trevor Lewis to Kopitar, who beat Andersen glove side with a wrist shot. Anaheim got even at 12:51 of the second period as Penner banged home a rebound following a wild scramble in front of Quick during a power play.

The Ducks took the lead 4:02 later, when they converted a turnover by Kings defenseman Willie Mitchell into a wraparound goal by Maroon. Los Angeles' Jeff Carter had his four-game goal-scoring streak stopped while Anaheim captain Ryan Getzlaf saw his eight-game point streak come to an end.
