David Booth recorded a goal and an assist while Tomas Vokoun made 37 saves as the Florida Panthers ended the Chicago Blackhawks' winning streak at eight games Tuesday with a 3-2 home victory.

Defenseman Clay Wilson and Marty Reasoner also scored for the Panthers, who had lost five in a row both overall and at home. The win was just Florida's third in 12 overall contests and second in 12 in its own building.

All-Star Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa tallied for Chicago, which outshot Florida 29-7 over the final two periods but fell to 10-2-2 in its last 14 overall and 5-1-2 in eight on the road.

Booth opened the scoring at 4:06 of the first period, burying a rebound in front of the net for his 20th goal of the season. Wilson doubled Florida's lead less than six minutes later with his first tally since 2007-08 with Columbus.

Reasoner beat Corey Crawford with a shot from the high slot with seven seconds remaining in the session, giving the Panthers a surprising 3-0 lead. That was the last shot faced by Crawford, who was replaced to start the second by Marty Turco after allowing three goals on just eight shots.

Kane got Chicago on the board with nine minutes left in the second and Hossa extended his point streak to eight games with his 19th goal at 13:48 to cut the deficit to 3-2.

But Vokoun stood tall in the third, turning aside all 14 shots he faced as the Panthers improved to 1-0-1 on their seven-game homestand.
