The Philadelphia Eagles knocked down New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady four times in the first quarter. Brady knocked them out in the second.

Brady finished 24 for 34 for 361 yards and three touchdowns as the Patriots rolled over the Eagles 38-20 Sunday at Philadelphia.

Philadelphia’s defense harassed Brady throughout the opening quarter and its offense parlayed a couple of big passes from Vince Young into an early 10-0 lead.

But once New England began to protect Brady in the pocket, he picked the Eagles apart. Brady threw for 213 yards in the first half alone, including a 41-yard touchdown pass to Wes Welker, as New England grabbed a 24-13 at the half.

Brady, who tied Johnny Unitas for sixth all-time with his 119th career win, connected with Welker again on the first drive of the second half for a 9-yard touchdown.

He later threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to tight end Rob Gronkowski to put the game away midway through the fourth quarter, giving him 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last four games on the road – all victories.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis scored a pair of short touchdowns on the ground for New England (8-3), which won its third straight game.

Young made his second straight start in place of the injured Michael Vick (ribs) and finished 26 for 48 for 400 yards and two touchdowns. But New England shut down LeSean McCoy and the running game, limiting the Eagles to 73 yards rushing.

Jeremy Maclin also missed the game with a hamstring injury and the Eagles (4-7) saw their fading playoff hopes take another big blow.
