Arian Foster piled up 186 yards from scrimmage and a pair of touchdowns as the Houston Texans pushed their winning streak to four games with a 37-9 demolition of the host Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Matt Schaub completed 11 of 15 passes for 242 yards and a pair of long touchdowns and Ben Tate rushed for a score for the Texans (7-3), who are running away with a weak AFC South.
Houston announced right from the start that it would be aggressive on Sunday, as Schaub hit Jacoby Jones with an 80-yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage. Another short drive was capped early in the second quarter when Schaub found Foster, who raced 78 yards for a touchdown.
Foster went to the ground for a 5-yard score in the third and fellow running backs Derrick Ward and Tate also had a touchdown.
The Texans defense got into the act as well, picking off Josh Freeman three times and recovering a fumble.
Freeman completed just 15 of 35 passes for 170 yards and one touchdown.
Tampa Bay (4-5) has lost three straight to fall off the pace in the NFC South.
