One day after longtime owner Al Davis died at age 82, the Oakland Raiders went out and showcased some of his more famous recent personnel moves in a 25-20 road victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Jason Campbell, Davis’ hand-picked quarterback threw, for a pair of touchdowns – one to controversial first-round pick Darrius Heyward-Bey – and Sebastian Janikowski kicked four field goals of over 40 yards for the Raiders (3-2).

Davis’ 2006 first-round pick, safety Michael Huff, sealed the victory with an interception in the end zone on the final play.

Janikowski, who was a surprise first-round pick by Davis in 2000, kept Oakland in the game early with field goals from 54 and 55 yards. His third field goal, a 50-yard blast in the third quarter, gave the Raiders their first lead at 15-14.

The Texans regained the lead with a field goal late in the third, but Oakland bounced right back, needing less than two minutes to score on Campbell’s 18-yard touchdown pass to Chaz Schilens to take the lead for good.

Matt Schaub finished with 416 yards but completed only 24 of 51 passes for two touchdowns and two interceptions. Arian Foster totaled 184 yards from scrimmage for Houston (3-2).
