Grizzlies 97, Suns 91: Zach Randolph scored a season-best 32 points on 15-of-25 shooting as visiting Memphis knocked off Phoenix to clinch a Western Conference playoff spot.

Mike Miller added a season-best 21 points for the Grizzlies, who are tied with the Dallas Mavericks for the seventh and eighth positions in the West. Marc Gasol scored 18 points and Mike Conley tallied 14 as Memphis won its fourth straight game.

Markieff Morris scored 21 points on 10-of-16 shooting for the Suns, who were eliminated with the loss – their fourth straight to the Grizzlies this season. Goran Dragic and Channing Frye added 14 points apiece as Phoenix lost its third consecutive contest.

A putback by Miles Plumlee gave the Suns a one-point lead with 1:22 remaining but Conley hit a 3-pointer and Randolph’s steal and layup made it 95-91 with 47.4 seconds left. Conley missed there of four free throws to keep Phoenix alive but Eric Bledsoe missed a layup with 11 seconds left as the Suns missed their final five shots.

Memphis led by 10 after one quarter and held a 46-33 advantage with under three minutes left in the first half before Phoenix scored the final nine points prior to the break. Five more consecutive points to start the third quarter put the Suns ahead and the Grizzlies led by six later in the quarter before Phoenix rallied to tie it at 67 entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miller was 8-of-11 from the field, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range. … The Suns were just 5-of-26 from 3-point range with Dragic missing all five of his attempts. … Memphis recorded a 42-30 edge on the boards.
