Grizzlies 96, Jazz 86: Zach Randolph had 21 points and 11 rebounds and Marc Gasol contributed 20 points and 10 boards as host Memphis beat Utah for its sixth win in the last seven games.

Mike Conley added 18 points and seven assists as the Grizzlies maintained their hold on the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Conley and Courtney Lee each had three steals as Memphis racked up nine overall while forcing 17 turnovers.

Trey Burke, Alec Burks and Gordon Hayward all scored 16 points for the Jazz. Enes Kanter added 12 points and 12 rebounds for Utah, which has lost six straight games and 11 of its last 12.

The Jazz rebounded from a double-digit deficit and caught Memphis at 84 on a fast-break layup by Burks with 5:39 to play. Tayshaun Prince’s basket put the Grizzlies back ahead as part of a game-ending 12-2 burst.

Memphis jumped ahead 12-2 at the outset and led by as many as 18 in the first half before settling for a 48-32 lead at the break. Utah closed within three midway through the third quarter before the Grizzlies finished the period strong to take a 74-63 advantage into the final stanza.
