CELTICS 87, BUCKS 74: Avery Bradley scored 14 points and Boston wrapped up the regular season by beating visiting Milwaukee for the sixth straight time.
Celtics leading scorer Paul Pierce had 12 points in only 6:41 after spraining his toe in the first quarter. He sat out the second half.
Point guard Rajon Rondo was the only one of 13 Boston players not to score, but he had 15 assists to run his streak to 24 straight games with double-digit assists.
The Celtics will open the postseason on the road against the Atlanta Hawks.
Rookie Tobias Harris scored 16 points to lead Milwaukee (31-35), which finished with a losing record for the seventh time in the last eight seasons.
Boston's bench triggered a 13-2 run to start the second quarter and extended a three-point first-quarter lead to 34-20. The Celtics led by as many as 21 before taking a 60-42 edge to the locker room.
The Bucks closed within a dozen points with five minutes left in the third quarter before the Celtics pushed it back to 78-61 entering the final 12 minutes.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Rondo became the first Boston player to lead the league in assists since Bob Cousy in 1959-60. ... Celtics G Ray Allen sat out his ninth consecutive game with bone spurs in his ankle. ... Milwaukee played with only nine players dressed. Sitting out were shooting guard Monta Ellis, center Drew Gooden and forwards Carlos Delfino, Ersan Ilyasova and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.
