After allowing the Knicks to come from back from 19 points down and take the lead, Nowitzki snapped a skid of 11 straight Dallas possessions without a point with his trademark fadeway at the 4:33 mark of the fourth quarter, sparking a 14-0 run. He finished with 28 points.
New York lost for the second time on its three-game road trip and fell to the Mavericks for the ninth time in their last 11 meetings.

Amar'e Stoudemire scored 10 of his team-high 26 points in the second quarter and put New York ahead 78-77 on a hook shot in the paint with just under five minutes left in the game.
Jason Kidd scored 15 points for the Mavericks, including a clutch 3-pointer with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
Knicks guard Jeremy Lin shot just 4 for 13 from the field and finished with 14 points. Carmelo Anthony was 2 for 12 for six points.
