DJ LeMahieu drove in four runs, including a tiebreaking single with nobody out in the seventh inning, and Giancarlo Stanton hit a bases-clearing double later in the inning as the New York Yankees rallied for a 10-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees won for the seventh time in nine games and tied a season best by going nine games over .500 by rallying from an early three-run deficit.

New York had runners at first and second for LeMahieu after Kyle Higashioka drew a walk from Cole Sulser (3-2) and pinch hitter Gary Sanchez drew a free pass from Paul Fry.

Jonathan Davis pinch ran for Higashioka and easily scored when LeMahieu ripped a full count slider from Fry up the middle.

The ball went under Fry's legs and caromed off Ramon Urias' glove, as the second baseman tried to make a diving stop, and went into center field.

The Yankees loaded the bases on a two-out walk to Joey Gallo and padded the lead when Stanton's fly ball landed in short right field as first baseman Ryan Mountcastle backpedaled and tried to make a running catch near the foul line.

Gleyber Torres made it 8-3 with an RBI double that scored Stanton, and LeMahieu added a two-run double in the eighth.

The Yankees scored 23 runs in the final two games of the series after being held to one on Monday. Before scoring seven times in the final two innings, Anthony Rizzo homered while Torres and LeMahieu hit run-scoring singles.

Rizzo homered off Matt Harvey and became the first Yankee to drive in a run in his first six games with the team. He also became the first player with an RBI in his first six games with any team since Bobby Murcer for the 1977 Chicago Cubs.

Cedric Mullins extended his hitting streak to 13 games to open the game and scored Baltimore's first run on a sacrifice fly by Mountcastle. Austin Hays followed with an RBI single.

Mountcastle hit his 19th homer to open the fourth.

New York's Jameson Taillon allowed three runs (two earned) and four hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out 10 and walked one, marking his third career double-digit strikeout game.

Tallion retired 10 of the final 11 hitters and was lifted after walking DJ Stewart. Jonathan Loaisiga (8-4) got a double play to end the seventh.

Harvey allowed two runs on three hits in four innings. He tweaked his knee fielding a comebacker and did not return for the fifth.
