Max Muncy hit two of Los Angeles' six home runs and scored the decisive run as the Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 12-8 in Denver on Thursday night.
Chris Taylor had four hits, Muncy added three hits and three RBIs, and Enrique Hernandez, Cody Bellinger, Justin Turner and Alex Verdugo also homered for L.A., which has won 12 straight against Colorado going back to last September.
Raimel Tapia had four hits, Ryan McMahon hit a home run and Charlie Blackmon finished a homer shy of the cycle for the Rockies.
With the game tied entering the ninth, Muncy walked and Matt Beaty singled to left. Taylor followed with a bloop single to break the tie, and one out later, Hernandez launched a pinch-hit, three-run homer off Wade Davis (1-3).
Pedro Baez (3-2) got the win with an inning of relief.
Bellinger and Muncy homered on consecutive pitches off Colorado starter Peter Lambert in the second inning to give Los Angeles a 2-0 lead. It was Bellinger's 27th home run of the season.
The Rockies came back in the bottom of the inning to tie it on Garrett Hampson's two-run triple to center.
Colorado took a 4-2 lead in the third on RBI doubles by Daniel Murphy and Tapia. The Dodgers used the long ball again in the fifth inning to go back in front. Verdugo tied it with a two-run homer to left, and Turner followed with his ninth home run to put Los Angeles ahead 5-4.
Joc Pederson put the Dodgers up 6-4 with an RBI single in the sixth, but the Rockies again rallied against starter Walker Buehler in the bottom of the inning.
Pat Valaika walked, Hampson singled and both came home on Blackmon's triple to tie it. David Dahl put Colorado ahead with a sacrifice fly.
Los Angeles came right back in the seventh to take the lead off Jairo Diaz. Bellinger walked and Muncy hit his second homer of the night and 19th of the season to make it 8-7.
Once again, the Rockies answered when McMahon led off with a 475-foot homer in the bottom of the seventh to tie it.
Buehler gave up seven runs on 13 hits in 5 2/3 innings. Lambert allowed five runs on nine hits in 4 2/3 innings.
