Giants 12, Rockies 7: Buster Posey homered among his three hits and drove in four runs while rookie Andrew Susac went deep and recorded three RBIs to help visiting San Francisco erase a six-run deficit - one night after blowing a five-run lead.

Gregor Blanco recorded three hits - including the go-ahead RBI double in a six-run seventh inning when the Giants recorded four doubles, a triple and a single - while Hunter Pence extended his hitting streak to 15 games with two hits and an RBI. George Kontos (4-0) retired all five batters he faced to earn the victory as San Francisco remained two games behind Los Angeles in the National League West and is four clear atop the wild card standings after registering eight extra-base hits.

Corey Dickerson drove in three runs, DJ LeMahieu belted a two-run homer and Josh Rutledge added a two-run triple for the Rockies. Matt Belisle (4-7) allowed four runs and four hits while retiring one batter in relief of starter Jordan Lyles, who yielded home runs to Posey (solo) and Susac (two-run) in the sixth.

Joe Panik's two-base hit chased Lyles and put runners on second and third with one out in the seventh before Posey greeted Belisle with a two-run double. After Pablo Sandoval popped out, Pence, Blanco and Susac delivered run-scoring hits, and Brandon Crawford's RBI triple against Nick Masset completed the onslaught.

Drew Stubbs doubled with two out in the third and Dickerson was intentionally walked before Rutledge tripled to right-center, and LeMahieu followed by crushing an 0-2 pitch out to left to give Colorado a 6-0 lead. Dickerson, who delivered a two-out two-run double in the first, drove in a run with a single in the fifth to make it 7-1.

GAME NOTEBOOK: San Francisco's Yusmeiro Petit allowed six runs and seven hits in four innings while Lyles yielded six runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 frames in a rematch of the Giants' 4-1 victory Thursday. ...
