Jason Pierre-Paul blocked a 47-yard field goal attempt with one second left to secure a 37-34 victory for the visiting New York Giants over the rival Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

Eli Manning threw for 400 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Brandon Jacobs rushed for 101 yards and two scores for the Giants (7-6), who snapped a four-game losing streak and moved into a tie with the Cowboys (7-6) for first place in the NFC East.

The teams meet again in Week 17 in New Jersey.

Tony Romo completed a pair of deep passes to get the Cowboys in field goal range, but Giants coach Tom Coughlin used his final timeout to ice kicker Dan Bailey, negating his successful kick on the first try.

On the second attempt, Pierre-Paul got a finger on the ball to cap the stunning comeback. It was the third time this season the Cowboys have blown a fourth-quarter lead of at least 12 points.

New York trailed 34-22 with just over 5 ½ minutes to play when Manning went to work

Manning completed four different passes of at least 18 yards on his final two drives, capping the first with an 8-yard touchdown to Jake Ballard with 3:14 to play.

Manning’s 18-yard pass to Ballard on the next drive got New York to the 1-yard line, and Jacobs burst through the right side to make it 35-34.

The two-point conversion run by D.J. Ware made it a three-point margin.

Romo passed for 321 yards and four touchdowns for Dallas, which has dropped two in a row.

The Cowboys thought they had put it away in the fourth quarter, when Victor Butler tipped Manning’s pass into the air and Sean Lee plucked it out of the air for the interception.

Lee returned it 30 yards to the Giants’ 49-yard line, and Dallas needed two plays to add to its lead, with Romo finding a wide-open Dez Bryant for a 50-yard touchdown to make it a two-score game.

Dallas absorbed another blow when star rookie running back DeMarco Murray fractured his ankle in the first half.
