Dwyane Wade scored 26 points and LeBron James had 20 and 12 assists as the Miami Heat routed the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves, 129-97, on Tuesday night.
Reserve James Jones added 17 points for Miami (4-1), which won its fourth straight game.
The Heat had little trouble with Minnesota (1-3), building a 69-53 halftime lead and increasing the margin to 28 points entering the final quarter.
Miami shot a blistering 58.2 percent from the field and made 12-of-21 3-pointers. Jones had five shots from the arc and Eddie House (15 points) was 4-for-4 from 3-point range.
Kevin Love led Minnesota with 20 points.
Chris Bosh scored 13 points and Udonis Haslem had 11 and 10 rebounds for the Heat.
Rookie Wesley Johnson and Sebastian Telfair added 13 points apiece for the Timberwolves, who shot under 37 percent. Nikola Pekovic had 12 points and former Heat player Michael Beasley added 11 before taking a tumble and leaving the game in the second quarter.
