WILD 5, BLACKHAWKS 4 (SO): Devin Setoguchi collected a goal and two assists before converting the deciding tally in the shootout as visiting Minnesota topped Chicago.
Dany Heatley had a goal and an assist and captain Mikko Koivu added two helpers for Minnesota, which has won three in a row. Erik Christensen also scored in the shootout.
Chicago’s Patrick Kane scored his second goal of the game, knocking home a pass from rookie Andrew Shaw on the power play with 2:45 remaining in regulation to tie it at 4-4.
Setoguchi knocked in his own rebound 10:11 into the game.
Patrick Sharp answered 34 seconds later after a nifty rush and pass by Nick Leddy, but Heatley swept in a Koivu feed at 13:54 on the power play to give the Wild a 2-1 lead after one period.
After Viktor Stalberg tied the game for Chicago 5:28 into the second, the Wild scored two in the next 1:01 for a 4-2 lead.
Defenseman Clayton Stoner scored his first goal since February 2011 on a rebound at 5:48 and Kyle Brodziak added another on a rebound.
Kane scored 8:20 into the second period to pull Chicago within 4-3.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith was serving the last of a five-game suspension for his elbow to the head of Vancouver’s Daniel Sedin.
