Tulane 83, Loyola Chicago 70: Jay Hook registered 15 points and nine rebounds to lead the Green Wave to a victory on the road.

Hook made three 3-pointers and Tre Drye contributed 18 points on 7-of-7 shooting and grabbed six rebounds for Tulane (6-1), which won its sixth straight game. Payton Henson posted 14 points and Jonathan Stark chipped in with 13 points for the Green Wave.

Donte Ingram recorded 14 points and four rebounds off the bench for Loyola Chicago (4-2). Christian Thomas supplied 13 points and leading scorer Milton Doyle finished with 15 points, including 11 points from the foul line.

Hook was on his game early, scoring all seven of his first-half points in the opening six minutes as the Green Wave gained an 11-4 advantage. Doyle scored his first bucket with 9:20 remaining and the Ramblers later cut the deficit to six points, but Tulane closed well to take a 34-24 lead into the break.

After Hook scored five points to increase the Tulane lead to 41-25 with 16:47 remaining, the Green Wave kept the Ramblers at bay for the remainder of the game. On several occasions, Loyola trailed by 10 points, but each time Tulane had an answer before putting it away in the final two minutes.
