Colorado 80, Elon 63: Spencer Dinwiddie had 17 points, seven assists and six rebounds as the host Buffaloes won their 10th straight game.

Xavier Johnson added 12 points and a career-high 15 rebounds and Josh Scott finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds for Colorado (10-1). George King contributed 10 points off the bench for the Buffaloes.

Sebastian Koch, a 6-8 senior guard from Germany, scored a career-high 27 points for Elon (5-5). Tanner Samson battled back from early foul trouble to finish with 12 points for the Phoenix.

Colorado missed six of its first seven shots but regrouped to make six of its next seven and eventually took a 41-26 lead into the break. Samson, the second-leading scorer for Elon, committed two fouls in the first five minutes.

The Buffaloes pushed their lead to 19 in the first four minutes of the second half. The Phoenix made a run to get within seven with 13:14 remaining, but Xavier Talton’s 3-pointer sparked a 10-2 run and Elon never got back within nine.
