Evan Bouchard, Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins each had a goal and an assist to help the Edmonton Oilers end a three-game losing streak with a 4-2 win against the visiting Los Angeles Kings on Monday night.

Zach Hyman also scored, Connor McDavid had two assists and Stuart Skinner made 38 saves for the Oilers, who avoided matching their longest losing streak of the season and regained sole possession of third place in the Pacific Division.

Trevor Moore and Alex Laferriere scored and David Rittich made 27 saves for the Kings, who have lost two of three. Adrian Kempe, who leads Los Angeles with 51 points, appeared to injure his wrist when he fell awkwardly to the ice off a faceoff with about a minute left and went directly to the locker room.

Moore gave the Kings a 1-0 lead at 6:45 of the first period.

Andreas Englund took a shot from the point that hit the end boards and came out the other side of the net. Quinton Byfield got to the puck first, made a touch pass to Moore in the slot and he scored his 22nd goal of the season to end a 12-game drought.

Hyman scored for the fifth straight game to tie it 1-1 with 24 seconds left in the opening period.

Bouchard pinched Pierre-Luc Dubois against the wall in his own zone, forcing a turnover to McDavid and he quickly fed Hyman for a one-timer from the left circle, his 38th goal of the season.

McDavid has recorded at least one assist in eight straight games.

Los Angeles moved back ahead 2-1 at 7:34 of the second.

Matt Roy intercepted an outlet pass in the neutral zone and headed toward the Edmonton net. The puck was knocked off his stick as he reached the top of the left circle, but it went to teammate Anze Kopitar and he made a quick feed to Laferriere, who scored as he cut through the slot.

After the Kings failed to capitalize on a 24-second five-on-three, the Oilers scored on their first power play on a tip-in by Draisaitl that tied it 2-2 at 15:56 of the second.

Bouchard gave the Oilers a 3-2 lead at 1:25 of the third when he scored on a one-timer from just inside the blue line.

Nugent-Hopkins scored on a give-and-go with Connor Brown to extend the lead to 4-2 with 3:29 left.
