Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak recorded three-point nights to lead the Boston Bruins to a 4-2 win over the host Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

Marchand scored goals in the second and third periods after recording an assist. His first tally capped off Boston's two-goal spurt in a 48-second span in the middle frame.

Pastrnak contributed a goal and two assists.

Morgan Geekie also lit the lamp for Boston, and Derek Forbort had the secondary assist on both of the team's second-period goals.

The Bruins' Jeremy Swayman made 32 saves, with 14 coming during a first period in which he faced two power plays within the first five minutes.

Alex Laferriere and Carl Grundstrom scored goals and Cam Talbot (21 saves) took the loss in net for Los Angeles, which had won its previous two games.

Anze Kopitar played in his 1,297th career game for the Kings, surpassing longtime teammate and former captain Dustin Brown for the most in franchise history.

After Swayman's strong start, the Bruins struck first when Pastrnak, from the left circle, whipped home Marchand's cross-ice feed for a power-play goal at the 13:10 mark of the first period.

Pastrnak has goals in each of Boston's first four games, giving him the longest season-opening goal streak since Dimitri Kvartalnov scored in five straight games to open the 1992-93 campaign.

Marchand has also recorded at least one point in each game.

Los Angeles knotted the score 6:28 into the second as Pierre-Luc Dubois sprung Laferriere down the slot for a breakaway goal, the first marker of his NHL career.

Geekie's first goal as a Bruin put Boston back in front with 5:15 left in the second. After Forbort -- who hit the post earlier in the shift -- let go of a point shot, Geekie collected a deflected puck off Milan Lucic in front of the net and buried it from low on the right side.

Marchand followed by sneaking a shot five-hole after collecting Pastrnak's pass off the draw.

The Boston captain iced the game with 2:12 left in regulation, snapping Pastrnak's centering feed over Talbot's blocker from the top of the crease.

Grundstrom deflected in a power-play goal 1:02 later to bring the Kings within 4-2.

Boston forward Jake DeBrusk did not play after arriving late to a team meeting, according to coach Jim Montgomery.
