Panthers 6, Flames 5: Tomas Fleischmann scored the game winner with 3:09 remaining to cap Florida's wild win over host Calgary.

Just 45 seconds after Matt Stajan's second goal of the game tied the score for the Flames, Fleischmann shoveled a loose puck past Jonas Hiller and Florida survived a last-minute Calgary power play to improve to 3-1-0 on its six-game road trip. Jonathan Huberdeau, Brad Boyes, Sean Bergenheim and Fleischmann had a goal and an assist apiece, defenseman Brian Campbell and Jimmy Hayes also scored and Al Montoya stopped 25 shots to preserve the win.

Defenseman TJ Brodie scored twice and Mikael Granlund added a second-period goal and an assist for the Flames, who have dropped three straight. Hiller made 29 saves in defeat.

Stajan opened the scoring 2:42 into the game, blasting a low shot past Montoya from the bottom of the right circle. Huberdeau and Boyes struck just under nine minutes apart to put the Panthers ahead, but Brodie drew the Flames even at 16:36 after gathering captain Mark Giordano's pass and firing a shot that squeezed past Montoya's right pad.

Granlund put Calgary back in front at 2:27 of the middle frame, lofting a shot over a fallen Montoya from the right edge of the slot. Bergenheim responded just 19 seconds later by converting his own rebound, and Hayes tallied late in the period to counter Brodie's second tally and send the game into the intermission tied 4-4.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The teams combined for 21 goals in their two meetings this season, with Calgary claiming a 6-4 road win on Nov. 8. ... Hiller has allowed eight goals on 44 shots over his last two appearances. ... F Lance Bouma had three assists for the Flames.
