Brad Davison scored 21 points and became Wisconsin's all-time leader in 3-pointers made to help the No. 11 Badgers to a 73-65 victory over Nebraska in a Big Ten Conference game Thursday in Lincoln, Neb.

Johnny Davis had 13 points, all in the second half, and nine rebounds, and Chucky Hepburn scored 13 for Wisconsin (16-3, 7-2 Big Ten), which bounced back from an 86-74 loss at home on Friday to then-No. 14 Michigan State.

Tyler Wahl, who missed the Michigan State game with an ankle injury, had 10 rebounds in 22 minutes to help the Badgers to a 47-34 advantage on the glass.

Freshman Bryce McGowens had 23 points and Alonzo Verge Jr. scored 11 for the Cornhuskers (6-14, 0-9), who played for the first time in 10 games after their game scheduled for Saturday against Ohio State was postponed.

Thursday's game was originally slated for Tuesday, but it was rescheduled due to COVID-19 health and safety protocol within Nebraska's program.

Ben Carlson's jumper put Wisconsin up 55-37 with just over 12 minutes left as the Cornhuskers missed 12 consecutive field goal attempts.

McGowens' lay-in capped an 11-point run that pulled the Huskers within 57-50. Hepburn's dunk put the Badgers up 63-50 with just over four minutes remaining.

Davison's second of five 3-pointers in the first half gave him 271 for his career, moving the fifth-year senior past Bronson Koenig as Wisconsin's all-time leader from beyond the arc.

Wisconsin led 39-31 at the break despite a scoreless first half by Davis, who entered fifth nationally in scoring at 22.2 points per game. Davis missed all five of his shots.

Davison hit 5 of 6 from beyond the arc in the first half. Wisconsin was 9 of 14 from 3-point range, but just 4 of 24 on two-point attempts.

Lat Mayen opened the second half with a dunk for the Huskers, but Wisconsin responded with eight consecutive points to go in front 47-33.
