TUCSON, Ariz. -- In 25-plus years of playing and coaching college basketball, Arizona coach Sean Miller couldn't recall being part of such an offensive performance as he saw Saturday in McKale Center.

He was just glad to be part of it.

"It just felt like that every shot that was going to go up from the 3-(point line) was going to go in," Miller said after No. 18 Arizona defeated Stanford 94-62 in a Pac-12 game.

"That's to our team's credit. You want to be great at great moments. Today was one of those moments where we did not take for granted."

The win allowed Arizona to finish 24-7 overall and 12-6 in the Pac-12. It secured a bye into next week's Pac-12 tournament in Las Vegas.

Nobody was short-changed in the regular season finale for Arizona.

Senior Gabe York had a career day on Senior Day, scoring 32 points by hitting a career-high nine 3-pointers, which tied a school record set by Salim Stoudamire in 2005.

Miller said he didn't realize York had tied for the record or he would have kept him in the game to attempt to break it. York was unaware he had matched the record until the game ended.

He called the game "a story-book moment."

"I couldn't have asked for anything better," York said.

York's offensive explosion rubbed off on his teammates as they made a school-record 18 3-pointers. He left the game with 4:59 remaining, raising his hands and eventually kissing Lute & Bobbi Olson Court before he departed.

"It's been an incredible journey, so the fact that it got to end like this is incredible," York said.

The game was such a blowout that seldom-used reserve senior Jacob Hazzard played, getting in with seven minutes left and Arizona (24-7, 12-6 Pac-12) up by 35.

Hazzard quickly hit a 3-pointer to make it 81-43 and followed with his second 3-pointer. He finished with three 3-pointers and nine points.

"Give credit to Jacob Hazzard, too, that's all I wanted," York said. "I wanted to see him start, but it wasn't going to happen. I had told him before the game and the whole team that 'we were going to get Jacob Hazzard in this game. And I want to see him score some points.'"

Although the game was highlighted by the long-distance shots, Arizona made the party complete with the play of their seniors.

With 4:22 left, senior Kaleb Tarczewski left the floor to a standing ovation with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Senior Ryan Anderson finished with his 16th double-double of the season, totaling 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Senior forward Mark Tollefsen, who transferred in this season, had three points and four rebounds for the Wildcats.

"Today was a crazy day," Anderson said. "I don't think I could have drawn up a better way for me to go out."

For Stanford, it couldn't have gone any worse. In fact, it was the worst defeat the Cardinal suffered this season.

"It was a tough game for us," Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins said. "We have to go back at the film and see areas that we can improve on. Our defensive rebounds were not as good as they needed to be and we need to get better at defending the 3-point line."

Rosco Allen led Stanford (15-14, 8-10) with 16 points and Michael Humphrey had 14.

Arizona jumped out to a 25-10 lead in the first nine minutes to eventually give the Wildcats a 40-24 lead at halftime.

York, coming off a game-winning 3-pointer against California on Thursday, started where he left off, hitting his first four 3-pointers and 4 of 5 from the field.

York had three consecutive 3s in 54 seconds at one point.

His shooting was contagious as Arizona made 6 of 11 3-pointers in the half.

The first half was totally opposite of Thursday's game for York when he took just one shot and was scoreless in the half, only to score 19 points in the second half to help Arizona get the win.

Against Stanford, Arizona was aggressive all game with freshman Allonzo Trier driving to the lane numerous times, going to the line six times. All four of his points came from the free throw line.

Arizona was able to get its biggest lead of the half at 36-17 with just under three minutes left.

NOTES: Arizona's seniors went 66-3 at McKale Center during their careers. The Wildcats' victory gave Kaleb Tarczewski 109 wins at Arizona, tying Matt Muehlebach as the winningest players in school history. ... McKale Center sold out for the 11th consecutive time this season and went into the Saturday's game averaging 14,520 fans, which was 15th in the nation for average attendance. ... Arizona coach Sean Miller is 12-0 against Stanford. ... Since facing Arizona in January, Stanford's Rosco Allen has led the Cardinal in scoring with an 18.4 points per game average. ... Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins has used a different starting lineup in six of the last nine games. Senior guard Christian Sanders was not in the lineup after being suspended because of team rules violations this week.
