No. 6 Wisconsin 78, Wisconsin-Milwaukee 52: Ben Brust had a hot start and a game-high 18 points as the host Badgers matched the program's best start.
Brust started 6-of-6 from the floor and hit his first four 3-pointers as Wisconsin moved to 11-0 for the first time since the 1993-94 season. Frank Kaminsky added 16 points and Sam Dekker and Traevon Jackson each chipped in 12 points.
Kyle Kelm led Milwaukee (9-3) with 17 points and Matt Tiby added 11. The Panthers, who have lost 21 straight to Wisconsin, were outrebounded 35-26 and had 19 turnovers.
Brust hit three straight baskets for a 14-7 lead and added back-to-back 3-pointers to extend the advantage to 20-9 with 8:58 left in the first half. Jackson scored the first six points of a 13-0 run and Dekker gave Wisconsin a 45-20 lead with a 3-pointer late in the first half.
The Panthers tried to battle back from the big deficit, getting back-to-back 3-pointers from Austin Arians early in the second half. Wisconsin went 0-of-10 from the floor during a five-minute scoring drought, but the Panthers only got within 61-45 with 7:33 left before Brust scored to start a 10-0 run.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Dekker, who had recorded two double-doubles in his last three games, was two rebounds and four assists short of a triple-double. ... Wisconsin went 9-of-13 from the 3-point line in the first half but just 1-of-13 in the second half. ... The teams combined for only 18 free-throw attempts.
