PHOENIX -- San Diego center fielder Manuel Margot continues to lead National League rookies in multiple-hit games, and he continues to make believers of those around him.

Margot had three hits and four RBIs and right-hander Jordan Lyles also drove in two runs and recorded his first victory of the season when the Padres stopped the Arizona Diamondbacks' franchise-record 13-game winning streak in a 10-6 victory at Chase Field on Friday night.

Margot had a two-run triple and Lyles had a two-run single in a six-run fourth inning as the Padres built an 8-0 lead off left-hander Patrick Corbin, who had given up two runs in his last five starts.

"The ball (triple) he hits down the right field line off of Corbin, I don't see a right-hander hit ball that hard down the line," Padres manager Andy Green said.

"That ball was absolutely smoked. You just don't see that swing."

And after Arizona (82-59) closed to within two runs by scoring two runs in the fifth inning and four in the sixth, Margot gave the Padres a final cushion with a two-out, two-run single in the seventh inning to close the scoring.

"He had good at-bats all day," Green said. "The one that was huge was that two-out RBI (in the seventh). Two outs. Two strikes. Those kind of at-bats are game changing."

Margot, who finished a homer short of the cycle, has 35 multi-hit games, also a team-high.

Arizona had swept a franchise-record four straight series entering the game, including two over the NL West-leading Dodgers and once against wild-card contender Colorado.

Arizona starters had been 12-0 with a 1.56 ERA during the 13-game winning streak, but Corbin gave up 11 hits and eight runs in 4 1/3 innings

"I'm definitely disappointed this streak ended on my start day," Corbin said.

The Diamondbacks are six games ahead of Colorado (76-65) in the NL wild card race with 21 games remaining.

Erick Aybar had three hits and scored twice and Jabari Blash, Jose Pirela and Wil Myers had two hits apiece for the Padres (64-78), who have won five of eight.

Rey Fuentes had a pinch-hit, two-run homer in the fifth inning off Lyles and J.D. Martinez had a two-run homer in a four-run sixth for Arizona (82-59), which had not lost since Aug. 23.

Martinez's homer, his 19th in 43 games with Arizona, drove in the middle two runs of the four-run sixth. The Diamondbacks had six hits in the inning -- five for extra bases -- and loaded the bases with one out but did not score again.

Ketel Marte and Jake Lamb had two hits for Arizona, which played its fifth straight game without Paul Goldschmidt.

Lyles (1-2) gave up six hits and four runs in five innings, all the runs scoring in the fifth and sixth innings after a stretch in which retired 13 in a row.

His two-run single to break a scoreless tie came on the first pitch he saw after the Padres loaded the bases on singles by Aybar and Blash and a walk.

"I was looking for a fastball," Lyles said. "He has a lot of run on his ball. Got it off the end of the bat and luckily it found a hole."

Margot and Jose Pirela drove in two runs apiece in the fourth inning, and Yangervis Solarte and Aybar drove in runs in the fifth to make it 8-0.

Fuentes' two-run pinch-hit homer made it 8-2 in the fifth inning.

NOTES: Arizona 1B Paul Goldschmidt (right elbow) was held out of the lineup for the fifth straight game, although he took batting practice Friday for the first time since receiving an MRI and a cortisone shot Monday. Manager Torey Lovullo said Goldschmidt would have been able to pinch hit late in the game. ... IF/OF Daniel Descalso made his third straight start at first base. ... Entering the game San Diego rookies had played 660 games this season, according to STATS, the most in the majors. Arizona rookies had played 63, the fewest. ... By hitting his 25th homer Thursday, 1B Wil Myers became the fifth player in franchise history with multiple 25 homer/10 stolen base seasons. Myers has 18 stolen bases. He had 28 homers and 28 steals in 2016.
