The visiting Toronto Blue Jays hit five home runs against right-hander Hunter Greene, two by Brandon Belt, and went on to defeat the Cincinnati Reds 10-3 Sunday afternoon.
Belt hit two-run and solo shots, Kevin Kiermaier and George Springer had two-run homers and Bo Bichette added a solo blast in the rubber match of a three-game series.
Tyler Stephenson hit a solo homer as a pinch hitter for the Reds, who won the series opener Friday.
Toronto left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu (2-1) allowed two unearned runs and four hits with seven strikeouts in five innings.
Greene (2-5) returned from the 60-day disabled list (hip) and allowed nine runs (eight earned) and 10 hits in three-plus innings. It was his first start since June 17. The five homers allowed matched a club record for a pitcher.
In a sloppy game, Cincinnati committed four errors and Toronto made two.
The Blue Jays scored once in the first on Bichette's triple and an error on Belt's grounder to second.
They added four in the second. Danny Jansen doubled and Kiermaier hit his sixth homer of the season. Whit Merrifield doubled and Belt homered.
The Reds scored twice in the bottom half. After two singles, both runners scored when third baseman Matt Chapman threw wildly to second when Christian Encarnacion-Strand tried to advance after a flyout to left.
Bichette led off the fourth with his 18th homer of the season and Belt followed with his 13th. After a walk, Springer hit his 15th homer of the season.
Stephenson hit his ninth homer of the season with one out in the seventh against Bowden Francis.
Toronto's Daulton Varsho doubled and scored on Jansen's single against Alex Young in the ninth.
Noelvi Marte doubled against Francis in the bottom of the ninth for his first major league hit.
TJ Hopkins replaced Stuart Fairchild (concussion protocol) in right field for Cincinnati in the third; Fairchild was injured going for a ball at the wall.
Cavan Biggio replaced Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (left middle finger discomfort) at first base for Toronto in the bottom of the fourth. Guerrero injured the finger swinging the bat in the top of the fourth.
