JAZZ 105, NETS 84: Paul Millsap had 24 points and 13 rebounds and Al Jefferson added 19 points as visiting Utah routed New Jersey.

Alec Burks scored 15 points and Devin Harris had a season-best 11 assists for the Jazz, who rebounded nicely from a quadruple-overtime loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

Gerald Green scored 20 points and Deron Williams had 17 points and 11 assists for New Jersey, which has lost six of seven games.

Utah held the Nets to less than 20 points in three different quarters while winning for the seventh time in eight games.

The Jazz led by 22 points early in the third quarter and were still ahead 70-54 with three minutes left in the stanza before New Jersey rolled off 11 straight points. Gerald Wallace’s three-point play pulled the Nets within five with one minute left.

Burks scored the final basket of the third quarter and the Jazz re-established control in the final quarter with a 20-5 surge to take a 92-74 lead on Jefferson’s jumper with 5:11 to play.

Utah opened the second quarter with a 12-2 run to take an eight-point lead. The advantage grew to 18 points on Gordon Hayward’s 3-pointer with 3:04 left in the half. The Jazz led 49-32 at intermission.

Wallace scored 14 points and Jordan Williams tallied 13 for New Jersey.
