Kessel skated up the wing before firing a shot from the left faceoff circle that sailed over the glove of Jose Theodore. After Kadri doubled the advantage at 12:13 of the second period following a brilliant feed from captain Dion Phaneuf, the promising star returned the favor by setting up MacArthur 1:44 later.
