Beno Udrih scored a game-high 29 points and the Sacramento Kings stunned the New York Knicks 93-83 at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
The Kings led throughout the game to help end their 12-game road losing streak. Sacramento had not won a game on the road since Oct. 30 but they controlled the play in this one to win at MSG for a fourth straight time.
Udrih was 11 for 14 from the field and the Kings grabbed 60 rebounds in the game. Tyreke Evans returned to the Kings lineup after missing three games with an ankle injury, but he scored just nine points.
Amare Stoudemire led the Knicks with 25 points but was just 6 for 22 from the field. Toney Douglas added 21 as New York (22-17) shot only 31 percent for the game.
Sacramento (9-23) was never really challenged down the stretch, maintaining a double-digit cushion for much of the second half.
