Heat 99, Pacers 76: LeBron James led the way with 32 points and eight rebounds as host Miami took control on the inside and clinched its third straight trip to the NBA Finals.

Dwyane Wade added 21 points and Chris Bosh overcame a 3-for-13 shooting night by collecting series highs of eight rebounds and three blocks for the Heat, who will open the NBA Finals at home against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.

Roy Hibbert scored 18 points and David West had 14 as Indiana suffered a crushing playoff series loss to Miami for the second straight season. After dominating on the interior in Game 6, the Pacers were outrebounded 43-36 and matched on points in the paint 30-30 in Game 7.

Indiana looked strong in the first quarter but quickly began to fall apart in the second as the Heat opened the period with a 15-6 run to take the lead. James scored 12 points in the second and Ray Allen hit a trio of 3-pointers as Miami outscored the Pacers 33-16 and cruised into the break with a 52-37 lead.

Indiana never pulled closer than 12 points down in the third and went the final 4:25 of the quarter without a field goal as the Heat stretched to lead to 76-55. Wade capped a 12-2 burst in the fourth with a pair of free throws to make it 91-63, and James checked out of the game seconds later as Miami let the bench put it away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Heat G Norris Cole and Pacers F Jeff Pendergraph were assessed double technical fouls and ejected with 2:16 left in the game. … Indiana All-Star Paul George struggled to seven points on 2-of-9 shooting before fouling out with 7:43 to play. … Miami went 33-for-38 from the free-throw line, led by James’ 15-of-16 effort.
