Terrence Jones and Darius Miller each scored 19 points to pace a balanced Kentucky attack as the Wildcats remained unbeaten with an 87-63 win over feisty Portland.
Jones, a forward who opted to remain in school rather than bolt for the NBA after his freshman season, knocked down 6-of-11 from the field and added four rebounds and three assists for the No. 2-ranked Wildcats. Miller, one of two seniors on the team, made 7-of-11 shots, including four 3-pointers, and added five rebounds.
Kentucky (6-0) also got 14 points and eight assists from Marquis Teague, 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds from Anthony Davis, and 11 points and seven rebounds from Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
Portland (2-4) was led by Nemanja Mitrovic, whose father was a member of the Yugoslavian National team. Mitrovic made six 3-pointers, scored 20 points and added five rebounds. Tanner Riley scored 14 and Tim Douglas added 12.
