TRAIL BLAZERS 93, WARRIORS 91: Gerald Wallace scored 24 points and Portland held off Golden State at Oracle Arena despite LaMarcus Aldridge sitting out with a left ankle sprain.
Marcus Camby had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Portland (16-14). Nicolas Batum scored 17 and Jamal Crawford had 14 points and six assists. Raymond Felton had 10 points and six assists.
David Lee had 29 points and 11 rebounds to lead Golden State (11-15).
Reserve Nate Robinson scored 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting. Dorell Wright scored 12 and Monta Ellis 10.
Wesley Matthews, who played with the second unit on Tuesday, replaced Aldridge in the starting lineup. Matthews responded by making his first four shots but missed his final eight and had nine points.
The Warriors had won four in a row over the Trail Blazers and 11 of the last 12 at home.
Golden State used a 15-5 rebounding advantage and outscored the Trail Blazers 8-0 in the final three minutes of the first quarter for a 27-20 lead and increased that to 35-23 on back-to-back 3-pointers by Robinson.
Portland went on a 27-11 run to take a 50-46 lead, capped by two long-range 3-pointers by Wallace. Despite shooting 56.4 percent (22 of 39) from the field and making 6 of 9 3-pointers, the Warriors trailed 57-54 at halftime. Lee had 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting and eight rebounds in the first half.
Portland's lead was short-lived to start the third quarter thanks to three quick baskets by Golden State for a 60-57 lead. A tight battle continued the rest of the third quarter and Portland led 72-70 entering the fourth.
The game see-sawed in the fourth and just when the Warriors appeared set to put the game away, Gerald Wallace answered with a 3-pointer to tie the score at 88. Curry made it 90-88 with two free throws.
Crawford's 3-pointer gave the Trail Blazers a one-point lead. Robinson made one of two free throws to tie it at 91. Crawford then connected two free throws with 43.7 seconds to go for a 93-91 lead.
The Warriors committed two turnovers in the final minute.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Aldridge did not travel to Oakland and coach Nate McMillan initially said the power forward was doubtful for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Later, the coach said Aldridge was day to day. ... Thursday's game will complete a back-to-back-to-back for Portland, which will try to snap a three-game home losing streak.
