Jesse Winker hit a two-run home run to lead off the 10th inning, and the visiting Cincinnati Reds ended a seven-game losing streak with a 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Reds starter Tyler Mahle pitched five strong innings in his homecoming, but the Reds were unable to hold a late two-run lead. Winker and Nick Castellanos each had two hits for the Reds, with Castellanos driving in a run as Cincinnati ended a five-game skid in road games.

Corey Seager hit a game-tying two-run homer in the seventh inning, but the Dodgers never led while losing for the fourth time in their last five games and the sixth time in their last eight.

Winker's home run, on the second pitch of the 10th inning, was his fifth of the season and came off Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen with an automatic runner, Alex Blandino, on second base. It was the first long ball allowed this season by Jansen (0-1).

With the Reds trying to hold onto a 3-1 lead, Seager greeted left-hander Amir Garrett with the bomb with two outs in the seventh inning. Garrett had just entered the game for Lucas Sims.

Eugenio Suarez (ground out) and Nick Senzel (sacrifice fly) each drove in runs in the fourth inning as Cincinnati took an early 2-0 lead.

Seager and Chris Taylor each had two hits for the Dodgers, while Gavin Lux drove in a run on a single in the fourth inning during his return from the injured list because of right wrist soreness. The Dodgers also lost in extra innings Sunday, 8-7, to the San Diego Padres.

Mahle, who is from nearby Westminster, gave up one run on five hits over five innings with two walks and five strikeouts. He has given up one run or fewer in three of his last four starts and has not given up more than two earned runs in any outing to maintain a 1.75 ERA.

Reds right-hander Tejay Antone (1-0) did not allow a run or a hit over the final three innings, allowing two walks with three strikeouts.

Dodgers starter Julio Urias gave up three runs on four hits over a season-low five innings, with two walks and six strikeouts.
