Mets 11, Phillies 1: Daniel Murphy collected four hits and drove in as many runs while Jonathon Niese scattered three hits over eight stellar innings as host New York handed struggling Philadelphia its sixth straight loss.
David Wright launched a three-run homer and Ruben Tejada and Josh Thole had three hits apiece for the Mets, who have won five of their last six games.
After Carlos Ruiz tied the game with a solo homer in the second, Niese regained the lead after he jumped on a first-pitch fastball and bounced it back up the middle to plate Lucas Duda and Andres Torres.
New York tacked on a pair of runs in the fourth inning before Wright launched a towering blast to center field for his 10th homer of the season. Wright now has a franchise-best nine seasons of double-digit home runs.
Niese (7-3) kept the Phillies in check by striking out three en route to winning his third straight start.
Vance Worley (4-5) matched his shortest outing of season after yielding six runs on 10 hits in four innings.
