Kevin Pillar and Orlando Arcia each drove in a run in the 10th inning to help the visiting Atlanta Braves outlast the Philadelphia Phillies 10-8 on Monday to begin a day-night doubleheader.

The win reduced the Braves' magic number to win the National League East to four.

Pillar delivered a pinch-hit single to score pinch runner Forrest Wall, then scored when Arcia doubled to left against Jose Alvarado (0-2). Kirby Yates pitched a scoreless 10th to earn his fourth save.

The Phillies (78-65) dramatically tied the game with two outs in the ninth. Trea Turner reached on an infield single and Bryce Harper followed with his 16th homer of the season against Atlanta closer Raisel Iglesias (4-4), who blew his third save but wound up with the win.

The Braves (94-49) scored a run in the first when Austin Riley tripled off the wall in left center and scored when Jake Cave dropped the ball before throwing it home.

Atlanta added another run in the third inning. Michael Harris II doubled and scored when Ronald Acuna Jr. looped a single into no-man's land in right.

The Phillies tied the game 2-2 in the third on Alec Bohm's two-run double.

The Braves scored three runs in the fifth inning on an RBI double by Ozzie Albies and a two-run double by Matt Olson, giving him a major-league-leading 123 RBIs.

Philadelphia got two runs back in its half of the fifth and cut the lead to 5-4. Bohm singled in a run and Bryson Stott hit a fly ball to right field that Acuna lost in the sun. Stott's double scored Harper, but Acuna recovered in time to throw Bohm out at the plate.

In the sixth inning, the Braves hit back-to-back homers. Harris his 15th homer, a two-run blast, and Acuna followed with his 36th homer, a solo shot. It was the 16th time the Braves have gone back-to-back this season, including the second time for Harris and Acuna.

Turner ambushed the first pitch he saw from reliever Dylan Lee in the seventh for a 423-foot two-run homer. It was Turner's 25th home run of the season and the 10th in his last 11 games.
