LOS ANGELES -- There were wall-to-wall heroes in the Los Angeles Dodgers' clubhouse Sunday, but manager Dave Roberts chose to focus on the collective rather than the specific.

"When you look back at championship seasons, these are the games that you'll remember, the kind of games you win 90 feet at a time," he said after a six-run, eighth-inning rally gave the Dodgers a 9-7 win over the Cincinnati Reds. "It was great team offense."

Corey Seager's grand slam capped the comeback.

With Los Angeles trailing 7-3 in the eighth, rookie Cody Bellinger hit his second home run of the game to jump-start the rally.

Three batters later, Enrique Hernandez worked a 13-pitch walk off Reds closer Raisel Iglesias to load the bases. Veteran Chase Utley then earned his own full-count walk to force in a run and make it 7-5.

Reigning National League Rookie of the Year Seager then hit Iglesias' next pitch, a changeup out and up in the strike zone, into the right field bleachers for his first career grand slam.

"(Hernandez's) walk was huge," Seager said. "It really wears down a pitcher when you battle like that. It changes his energy. It changes his decisions on what to throw."

By the time Seager stepped to the plate, Iglesias had already thrown 23 pitches.

"I was just looking for something out and up," Seager said. "I was thinking sacrifice fly, base hit. I wasn't trying to hit a home run. I just wanted to have a good at-bat and keep the inning going."

Roberts said, "A lot of things stand out about Corey, obviously his confidence. But his ability to control his heartbeat and stay calm is special. He went up there looking for a good pitch."

Kenley Jansen worked a 1-2-3 ninth for his 200th career save and 11th of the season.

Even a player out of the game earned kudos for the win. Veteran first baseman Adrian Gonzalez felt his back tighten up midgame, and he told Roberts of his problem at a time when the manager could insert Hernandez as a pinch hitter and make a double switch.

"I wasn't getting to pitches I usually do," Gonzalez said. "You make decisions like that when you know you have healthy guys on the bench who can produce. It was a lot of fun to watch that from the trainer's room."

The Reds enjoyed the game, too, until the eighth. In the second, Adam Duvall hit his 15th home run, and Scott Schebler soon followed with his 18th, a two-run shot. Joey Votto clubbed his 18th in the third, and catcher Devin Mesoraco his fifth, part of a three-run sixth that gave the Reds a 7-3 lead.

Cincinnati's seven-run outburst was just the second time in the last 17 games that the Dodgers allowed more than four runs in a game. Los Angeles leads the NL in ERA, opponents' average, most strikeouts, and fewest hits, runs and home runs allowed. The Dodgers also have been difficult to beat at home, going 24-10 at Dodger Stadium.

With one out in the eighth, Bellinger hit his second home run of the game off Austin Brice. After Yasmani Grandal singled, Reds manager Bryan Price went to his closer, Iglesias, who came in with a 0.57 ERA and 12 saves.

Iglesias walked Yasiel Puig on four pitches, then went to the limit on Hernandez and Utley before issuing walks. Price had no qualms sticking with his closer, who hadn't allowed a run since April 23 and is comfortable with multiple-inning save situations.

"He battled in both of those at-bats (the two walks)," Price said of Iglesias. "He was rested, so I wasn't worried about the pitch count. He does well against left-handed hitters. He just got a pitch up against a good hitter."
