Eugenio Suarez homered twice and pinch hitter Michael Lorenzen delivered a walk-off double with one out in the ninth inning as the host Cincinnati Reds broke the Arizona Diamondbacks' five-game winning streak with a 4-3 victory Sunday.
Pinch hitter Jose Peraza singled with one out in the ninth inning off Yoan Lopez (2-6) and Phillip Ervin singled to put runners on first and second before left-hander T.J. McFarland entered.
Lorenzen's liner to left field finished a nine-pitch at-bat to help the Reds salvage the final game of the three-game series. Raisel Iglesias (3-11) pitched the ninth for the victory.
Suarez gave the Reds a 2-1 lead with his two-run homer in the third inning, and he tied the game at 3 with a one-out homer in the eighth inning off reliever Jimmie Sherfy. Suarez has 44 homers and leads the majors with 24 homers since the All-Star break.
Ketel Marte hit his fourth homer in six games for a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning for the Diamondbacks, who had won 11 of 12 while chasing the Chicago Cubs for the second NL wild card spot.
Marte, who has 32 homers, has hit safely in 18 consecutive starts and is 13 for 24 with four homers and 14 RBIs in the last six games. Since June 15, he is batting .389 with 15 home runs and 44 RBIs

Tim Locastro was hit by a pitch to open the fifth inning and took second on a fly out to center field before Marte's homer. Locastro has been hit by a franchise-record 20 pitches this season.
