Braves 2, Mets 0: Mike Minor worked the first 6 1/3 innings and the Atlanta bullpen took care of the rest to blank visiting New York.

Minor (11-10) struck out four and did not walk a batter while allowing three hits. The left-hander threw 62 of his 88 pitches for strikes for the Braves, who remained four games in back of Washington in the National League East with four to play. The Nationals posted a 6-4 triumph in 10 innings over St. Louis on Saturday.

Jason Heyward recorded an RBI groundout and Martin Prado doubled in a run as Atlanta snapped the Mets’ three-game winning streak.

Prado doubled in the first and moved up on a wild pitch before scoring on Heyward’s groundout. Prado chased Andrelton Simmons home with a double to left-center in the fifth off Chris Young (4-9), who was charged with both runs on seven hits in six innings.

Three relievers bridged the gap to closer Craig Kimbrel, who worked around a leadoff error and a hit-by-pitch to record his 41st save.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Braves 3B Chipper Jones has one regular-season home game left in his career. Jones went 0-for-4 on Saturday and is hitless in four straight games. … Kimbrel has not allowed a run in September, a span of 12 appearances. … Mets SS Ruben Tejada went 0-for-4 to snap his hitting streak at 10 games.
